Hankook Winter I*pike RS W419 185/60R14 82T BSW Tires

The Hankook Winter i-Pike RS W419 tire is a studdable winter tire for passenger cars. With good snow and ice traction, fuel efficiency, and a low price, the tire offers great value.  A special silica compound delivers the wet traction and lower rolling resistance for better fuel economy, but without any compromise to long tread-life. Efficient evacuation of water and slush is accomplished with a directional tread design, increasing both wet traction and hydroplaning resistance.  3D biting edges thanks to lateral grooves and high-density siping contribute to the increased traction and stability on snow and slippery surfaces.

Improved uniformity are accomplished through a strong single strand bead wire that firmly seats the tire on the wheel, while the high-hardness bead filler improves the handling and steering response. Tire deformation is minimized with greater sidewall stiffness from the equilibrium casing, and an extra wide steel belt layer underneath the tread that is resistant to the forces of centrifigual force.
